A dedicated shelf attachment lets you mount one of our wall-mounted drying racks directly into the shelving system. Storage above, airing space below — on the same two uprights, sharing the same wall. Only suitable for the 80cm and 60cm drying racks.

How does the desk open and close?
The Vendline desk features two built in gas struts that provide smooth, supported movement. Simply pull the front panel down to open, and lift gently to close. The struts assist the motion so it feels light and controlled.
What is the weight capacity of the desk?
The desk has been designed for everyday use such as laptops, notebooks, tablets, and general work accessories. It is not intended to be used as a seat or for heavy equipment.
What wall types can this be installed on?
The desk can be mounted on:
- Timber studs
- Metal studs
- Solid brick or masonry
For plasterboard walls, installation must be into studs or with appropriate heavy duty fixings. If unsure, we recommend using a stud finder or consulting a handyman.
Can I install this myself?
Yes, many customers install it themselves. A standard drill, level, stud finder, and screwdriver are typically required. However, if you’re not comfortable with wall mounting, we recommend using a professional installer to ensure optimal stability.
Is the surface easy to clean?
Yes. The desktop has a smooth, satin finish and can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
How much space does it take when folded up?
When closed, the desk sits flat against the wall (70mm depth), creating a minimal and tidy profile. Perfect for small rooms, apartments, caravan/camper setups, and study nooks.
Can I store a laptop or stationery inside?
Yes. The built in interior cavities have space for notebooks, pens, and slim laptops or tablets. The amount of storage may vary depending on your configuration and cable setup.
Can the desk be mounted at any height?
Yes. You can choose the height that suits your workspace. For a seated desk, standard height is around 72–75 cm from floor to desktop. For a standing desk setup, mount higher based on your height.
Is this suitable for children?
Yes, though we recommend supervising younger children when opening and closing the desk.
