I am a proud Wiradjuri woman, born in Wagga Wagga on Wiradjuri Country. I have been fortunate enough to grow up with just enough Country to connect with Mother Earth, and just enough city to connect with some incredible people. I am so lucky to still live in Wagga Wagga and am remarkably grateful for the life I get to live each day.
My creativity escapes in many ways and my favourite way is though art, particularly painting. As a child I was inspired by my father, with whom my Aboriginal heritage comes from. Almost daily, my dad found a new hobby or interest, carrying with him an amazing ‘how hard can it be’ attitude. I was gently encouraged by my mother, who saw the amazing souls she was raising and guided us to follow our intuitive strengths, however they presented themselves.

This is fantastic. It has just been set up in my 11 year old grandsons room. It has solved many space issues for this room. My son in law secured it to the wall and said it was a problem free easy installation. My grandson is so happy and will put his “things” in it on the weekend. A truly great idea and quality profuct. I saw it on FB and thought it was a great idea, i bought it on line and it arrived in 5 or so days, it was easy to mount using a stud finder and i used my own leveler... Its just great and it looks neat and tidy . Just close it and it looks like a white board. Maybe looking at a second one in another room. Great idea guys ..

I love this foldaway desk- it’s sturdy and looks good, too. The install wasn’t quite as easy as the marketing vid makes out for us as the top sleeve was quite tight. We loosened the screws on the wall a touch and pushed hard and it thankfully slipped in. It’s not going anywhere! Happy customer!!
Just the right size for a small space. Easy to install
Very easy to install, and perfect in my tiny home.
Mounting this was a little trickier than I expected. I’m a pretty competent person with power tools and timber. The plasterboard fixing kit supplied didn’t include screws for going into the timber framework behind the plaster. The screws to go into the wall plugs were too big for the holes on the aluminium Z locks. I had to go to Bunnings and pick up a 6mm metal drill bit to drill them out to the correct size. The unit was much heavier than I expected, and I didn’t feel confident mounting it on the wall inside my camper van, considering the shaking around it would get on the road. Other than that it’s gorgeous, well-made and will do the job in the guest room that my grandson stays in.

Perfect setup in my workshop for writting up job cards, folds out of the way so no one dumps stuff on it. Needed this for the last 30 years!!!!
This is a great bit of gear. I have a tiny house so space is at a premium. The Murphy desk is well made and does what it says on the box. It fits my laptop, extended keyboard and mouse, and I can leave the laptop plugged in thanks to the port underneath that allows the charger cord to stay attached. The installation was simple thanks to the template supplied. I highly recommend the Murphy desk.
Well designed, compact, and attractive murphy desk. When open, it is stable and strong. The Aboriginal print on my model makes it look like wall art. Only criticism are the wall-mounting bracket attachment instructions. They are not clear and should be improved.

We are LOVING our Murphy desk! It's given us our sitting room back, returning to its original function instead of a makeshift office with odd pieces of furniture. I was a bit unsure if it would feel strong enough, but once mounted into studs it’s rock solid. I can fit my laptop, phone and air pods with no issues. Folds away nicely when not in use and finish feels premium too. Might get one for the kids room as well.
I use this as a craft table in my sewing room. When I’m done, I just fold it back up and have my floor space again. I wish I bought one sooner.

The Vendline desk features two built in gas struts that provide smooth, supported movement. Simply pull the front panel down to open, and lift gently to close. The struts assist the motion so it feels light and controlled.
What is the weight capacity of the desk?
The desk has been designed for everyday use such as laptops, notebooks, tablets, and general work accessories. It is not intended to be used as a seat or for heavy equipment.
What wall types can this be installed on?
The desk can be mounted on:
- Timber studs
- Metal studs
- Solid brick or masonry
For plasterboard walls, installation must be into studs or with appropriate heavy duty fixings. If unsure, we recommend using a stud finder or consulting a handyman.
Can I install this myself?
Yes, many customers install it themselves. A standard drill, level, stud finder, and screwdriver are typically required. However, if you’re not comfortable with wall mounting, we recommend using a professional installer to ensure optimal stability.
Is the surface easy to clean?
Yes. The desktop has a smooth, satin finish and can be cleaned with a damp cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads.
How much space does it take when folded up?
When closed, the desk sits flat against the wall (70mm depth), creating a minimal and tidy profile. Perfect for small rooms, apartments, caravan/camper setups, and study nooks.
Can I store a laptop or stationery inside?
Yes. The built in interior cavities have space for notebooks, pens, and slim laptops or tablets. The amount of storage may vary depending on your configuration and cable setup.
Can the desk be mounted at any height?
Yes. You can choose the height that suits your workspace. For a seated desk, standard height is around 72–75 cm from floor to desktop. For a standing desk setup, mount higher based on your height.
Is this suitable for children?
Yes, though we recommend supervising younger children when opening and closing the desk.
